The Fracking Challenge: One of Poland’s initial shale gas explorations required a very large temporary capacity for the storage of its hydraulic fracturing liquids.
The Baker Solution: Engineering of an onsite storage system to include 20 Baker tanks and containment berms for both clean water storage and flow back water. Baker managed the entire set-up, including CAD plans for the precise positioning of the tanks near the well site.
We connected the liquid tanks with hoses and manifolds, creating one managed system. The complete gas-collecting pipework system was delivered on time and in compliance with environmental best practice standards.
Tank Lined - 70 m³
Mix Tank Unlined with Coil - 68 m³
A tightly scheduled conventional drilling project in Germany ran into a common problem - a 200 m³ shortage of storage capacity for its flushing chalk.
