On July 31st last year, United Rentals, the world’s leading comprehensive rental solutions company, acquired BakerCorp. We are very excited about the opportunities this creates for both companies, our valued customers and employees.

For more than 75 years, the BakerCorp team of dedicated employees has worked tirelessly to build a business and a brand that represents the highest levels of safety, service and solutions in the market. As we evaluated BakerCorp’s next chapter, it was clear that United Rentals was a great fit because of our shared values and unwavering commitment to serving customer needs. United Rentals has invested in supporting our growth by providing new opportunities to both our customers and employees. Building on our strong reputations as value-added and solutions-driven service providers, our combined organisation will be even better positioned to deliver a wider range of services and products to our clients in the United States and Canada. 

In Europe we will continue our current rental operations, but under new statutory names. Our new statutory name in the UK is ‘United Rentals UK Limited’, however we will continue to use BakerCorp as our trading name and you will see us referred to as: ‘BakerCorp, a United Rentals® Company’.
