BakerCorp Continues International Expansion;
New Office Opened in Germany
Containment company offers more locations
for increased global availability
Oosterhout, The Netherlands – BakerCorp, the industry leader in temporary liquid containment solutions, announced today the opening of its newest branch location in Dorsten, Germany, to better serve customers in the European region. The branch will offer a versatile product line of 70,000-liter steel tanks to provide temporary liquid containment solutions for those working within the petroleum, construction, civil engineering, chemical plant and pharmaceutical industries.
Dorsten Branch Manager Andreas Rudolf and his team of experts will assist current German customers with their high-volume containment needs and continue to develop BakerCorp’s client base in Europe. Steel tanks provide essential onsite liquid storage capacity to industrial plants that may not have a water treatment system or to prevent an existing system from overload. Tanks can also be utilized to collect large volumes of liquid produced in industrial cleaning processes.
“With the ability to customize and manifold our tanks, our technology is far and ahead of our competitors. We are able to provide versatile solutions for our customers – larger containment volume with a much smaller footprint, which makes them more efficient, cost-effective and easier to install and transport,” said Rudolf.
BakerCorp’s European tank line possesses many innovative features that are new to European industrial customers, including easy tank installation by truck without a need for cranes or forklifts. Integrated stairs and work platforms with guardrails provide the safest working environment, while eliminating the need for scaffolding and additional ladders. Most tanks contain an epoxy coating to handle even the toughest industrial applications, and is easy to clean with V-bottoms and no interior bracing. Baker tanks in Germany are manufactured under review of TÜV NORD Systems GmbH & Co. KG, a respected testing, inspection and certification organization in Germany.
The launch of the German operation represents BakerCorp’s ongoing commitment to developing industry-specific solutions for a myriad of industries around the world. “This expansion continues to broaden our international leadership position and provides an opportunity for German businesses to take advantage of the customized solutions that Baker offers,” said Jurgen Verschoor, Managing Director of BakerCorp Europe. "Opening an office in Germany enables us to build stronger ties and interact more with our customers, allowing us to engineer new temporary containment solutions for the unique challenges that face German-based companies."
